Our Story
Our story starts in Calgary. In 1995, our founder, Sean, entered the trade when a friend asked him to fill in at work. Sean maintained his position there until moving to Kelowna in 2002 where he was fortunate enough to work for a company that did everything. Sean was taught how to install ductwork, furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioners, tankless hot water heaters, fireplaces, gas lines, humidifiers, thermostats, HRV's, commercial work, and welding. Following ten years in the industry, he began his apprenticeship at British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT) in Vancouver where he went on to graduate with a Red Seal Trade Certification in 2009.

 

In 2010, Sean moved back to Calgary and resumed working in the industry, when he noticed things needed to change to better the experience of employees and customers alike. With this in mind, STP Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning was established in 2013. Since then we've been doing everything from custom ranch homes, to commercial buildings, while continuing to serve the public with furnace placements, air conditioners, tankless hot water heaters, heat pumps and much more!
